To me, keyboard macros make less sense in the complexity of a web environment than they do in the
comparatively simple and predictable world of text editing. Keyboard macros are a very blunt instrument
that entails making assumptions about document structure that is often invisible. In most cases, I
believe, the feature really desired is the ability to operate on a list of Browser Objects, rather than
just one at a time. A more featureful browser object system that includes a language for selecting and
operating on a list of objects would minimize, if not obviate, the need for keyboard macros. --retroj
